Library Haul & Reading List 04/08/16

It’s just over a week until Broken Fate releases into stores. I feel like I’ve done everything I can to make it a success, but I also feel like whatever I do won’t be enough. I guess everyone feels like that. (At least I hope they do, otherwise I’m an idiot.) All I can do now is focus on the next book in the series and hope that Broken Fate finds its tribe of readers.

If you are interested, my publisher is throwing me a virtual release party on April 15th from 6 – 8 PM CST on Facebook. I will be taking questions and chatting with readers, plus there will be giveaways and free stuff! You don’t have to stay for the whole time; you can pop in and out as you want. I’d love to see any of you there!

  • The First Time She Drowned, by Kerry Kletter. This is a YA story of a girl who was committed to a mental hospital against her will by her mother. Now that she’s 18, she’s signing herself out and trying to get on with her life. The story centers around the relationship between mother and daughter, the reasons for her committal, and which version – hers or her mother’s – of events is true.
  • The Outlandish Companion, Volume 2, by Diana Gabaldon. I’m finally getting around to reading this second volume of trivia, behind the scenes information, summaries, chronologies, maps, and historical information for the Outlander series. This volume covers the four most recent books. I guess there will have to be a third volume at some point, as there’s at least one (possibly more) book coming.
