Library Haul & Reading List 09/16/16

The big news this week is that the eBook of Avenging Fate is now available. To celebrate, I’m giving one person a chance to win both the Kindle version of the book and a $5 Amazon gift card. If you want to enter, visit my giveaways page.

Giveaway Avenging Fate

There’s not much other news this week as I’m deep into book three and barely lifting my head from the keyboard. I’m also starting to think about what I might want to do for NaNoWriMo this year. I’m thinking it might be a month long editing blitz for book three instead of working on something new, but at the same time I have a lot of ideas I want to work on. There’s time to think about it, but November is coming up (too) fast!

Books I’m Reading

  • Apprentice in Death, by J.D. Robb. This is the latest “In Death” book from Nora Roberts, writing under her pen name J.D. Robb. It furthers the adventures of cop Eve Dallas and her husband Roarke. This one involves a sniper shooting seemingly random people on the streets of futuristic New York. Of course, it turns out that there’s a method to the madness and Eve must solve the case to prevent further deaths.
  • Best. State. Ever., by Dave Barry. I love Dave Barry. I started reading him in high school when his column was still in our local paper. He doesn’t put out as many books as he once did, so any book is a must read. This one pokes fun at his home state of Florida. Since I spend much of my vacation time there (Disney nut) and have friends and family there, I can’t wait to see what he has to say.
