Before I get into the meat of this post, the big news this week is that Avenging Fate is now available in paperback. If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on a physical copy, now’s the time. (Note that I also have signed copies of both titles available for purchase through PayPal.) And if you haven’t started the series, Broken Fate is available as a free eBook on all platforms.
Okay, now we’ve got that bit of business out of the way… On to the main point.
I’m putting the blog on hiatus for a little while.
The issue is mostly one of time. I have a hard deadline to finish a book by the end of the year. When you couple that with the jobs that pay the bills, plus the holidays, there just isn’t much time left over to dedicate to blogging.
That doesn’t mean that the blog will be completely dark. I’ll still post any important news and I’ll probably post a few reading lists or other, lightweight posts as time allows. But the regular schedule isn’t going to happen until after the new year. And then I’ll be back, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, with a book gone off to the publisher, and ready for a brand new start.

I’ll still be around, though, so if you have any comments, those will still be moderated and posted and I’ll also be available via the contact form. I’ll also still be on my social media platforms, although maybe not as often as I have been. But I’ll be checking messages and tweets, so if you want to get in touch, please do.
I’ll also admit that my decision to pull back a bit from social media has to do with the cesspool that it has become of late. With the election just finished, there is a lot of hate and vitriol out there, no mater who you voted for. Since I really don’t need the high blood pressure and refuse to engage in that kind of fighting, or be dragged down by negativity, I’ll be stepping back.
I want to enjoy my holidays, which are supposed to be a time of peace and love, and that can’t happen if I’m constantly exposed to that kind of negativity and hate. Hopefully things will die down after a while and it will be safe to venture into those waters again. For now, though, I’ll be stepping back both for issues of time and sanity.
