Ah, news. They say no news is good news, right? Well, I’m still waiting for my publisher to set a release date for the next Fate book and for it to start moving through the editorial/cover design process. I’m sure they’re super busy, so I wait.
And while I wait, I’m cleaning out old files, upgrading my computer’s operating system, and making stacks of notes for three books (including the fourth and final Fate book) that I really want to work on next. Soon I will begin the dreaded painting project, as well, so you may see fewer blog posts as I give more of my time over to that foolishness.
The Reading List
In keeping with my pledge to stop being so overwhelmed by reading choices, my list this week is a whopping one book! It doesn’t make for much for you, the reader, to investigate but it does keep me sane.
Strange the Dreamer, by Lani Taylor. Taylor is the author of the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy, which I enjoyed. This book is the start of a new YA series that follows the adventure of a young warrior as he searches for a mythical city. Along the way he meets mythical warriors, a Godslayer, and a mysterious girl. The description reads like a really strange mushroom trip, so I want to see where this one goes.
